Jensen steals the show with kind river

He might not be playing up on the stage anymore but it remains the Johnny Jensen show in the theatrical setting here in Thessaloniki, with twists and turns almost every hand.

The Dane's relentless aggression has come up against multiple foes and while he has been as low as 10,000 chips in the last hour, he now has around 60,000 in his arsenal following a sequence of good fortune. Lady Luck must be entertained!

The defining hand of his most recent roller coaster was against Andreas Chalkiadakis as after some verbal sparring, the pair got involved in a pot inevitably raised pre-flop by Jensen.

Calling from the blind, the Greek player followed up with another call when Johnny c-bet the J♦9♥Q♠ flop. The turn was the K♥ and our man check-raised all-in.

He was insta-called by Chalkiadakis, who swiftly flipped A♥10♦ to show the nut straight and in the same breath Jensen said "nice hand" the river delivered his saving Q♦ for a winning full house.
