Turbo/High Roller results

The rate of eliminations has been a little slow over the last couple of levels as our players cling on until the dinner break, hoping a full stomach might help revive their fortunes.

We thought we'd use this lull to bring you our official side event results from earlier in the week, including the €115 Turbo Event on Wednesday and Thursday's High Roller.

Cashing in side events helps boost your tally in the PPT3 League so the more events you play, the more hope you have of taking down a slice of the €20,000 prize pool at the end of season awards.

Topping the money in our midweek event was Jiri Golasowski, with €3,900 the top prize in the €15,000 GTD event, with Daniel Peterson (€2700), Cristina Dumistresku (€1950) and David Huspeka (€1530) also claiming sizeable scores after beating the 131-man field.

The 22-man High Roller event paid just three players and with a high standard on show, it was fitting that Grzegorz Cichocki topped the pile to take down €15,400. The Pole had an outstanding 2011 including big wins on the EPT Tour.

Also making the cash position on Thursday night were Stefan Vagner (€9240) and Ruslan Tsmur (€6,160) so a tip of the cap to you gentlemen. Here are the results in full:
