Bank (pictured on Day 1) chipped up in style |
The Hungarian had sparked the action when he open shoved with 8♥8♣ and got action from two rivals, as Nikola Szarkezi and Robert Kokoska shipped their stacks in turn.
The Czech pair showed A♦K♦ and A♥A♠ but the drama was far from done there...
First the flop brought Bank top set 6♦8♠2♦, only for the turn to deliver the J♦ for Szarkezi to take the lead. A river 2♠ saw our Hungarian hero cry out with delight before stacking up his new found fortress.
Poor Kokoska exits in 20th as a result, while Szarkezi clings on after winning the side pot.
