Lee sharpens up for first PPT

Tweet as you go! Lee Davy logs his progress
For a second straight event the PP blog has met a fellow blogger taking their shot at the tables and this time it's WPT scribe Lee Davy.

Sporting a hair style as sharp as his writing, the Brit was sitting on his starting 20,000 stack when last we dropped by, but it wasn't for the want of trying.

Lee confessed his bluffing had been less than effective so far, failing on each of the three times he had make a move - and we can only presume we caught his latest effort!

A villain in late middle position had raised pre-flop and Davy three-bet from the cut-off, before earning a call from his rival. The flop fell 7♣ A♦ 4♥ and the villain again played it passively, check-calling a c-bet.

The K♦ on the turn slowed the action as both players checked and our man folded to a river bet. We just learned care of his Twitter account @Chingster23 that he had KQ - and that apparently he speaks Czech!
