Popular Porebski among quick-fire casualties

Porebski's dream flop turned
into a nightmare
After long periods with very little movement, the action has exploded into life as we head to our next 15 minute break, with Damian Porebski breaking many a Fantasy Poker entrant's heart by exiting in 16th.

News of his demise will come as a blow to the 12 teams pinning their hopes on Damian, but his backers will hardly be able to blame him for his final hand.

Porebski had raised to 20,000 and Pietr Sowinski three-bet to 32,000 before the compatriots went to the K♠T♦9♦ flop.

It looked like the dream board for Damian's K♦Q♦ but it soon turned into a nightmare after the chips had gone in, as Sowinski showed A♦J♦ and proceeded to hit two diamonds to make his nut flush.

Porebski was one of five quick fire casualties in the King's Casino and just 12 players will resume following the short interval.

Luis Machado (14th) was eliminated after his top pair ran into a flopped flush, while the aggressive Czech Roman Studynka (13th) couldn't find the moves to get his 87o past the A2o of Gabor Bank.

Also hitting the rail in the burst of exits were Stanislav Polacek (17th) and Mahmut Odun (15th). All of the above won €1,772 apart from Studynka, who secures a €2,009 prize.

Prize Pool reminder: 1st - €33,005; 2nd - €20,090; 3rd - €13,346; 4th - €10,906; 5th - €9,184; 6th - €7,605; 7th - €6,170; 8th - €4735; 9th - €3,300; 10th-13th - €2,009.
