History-making halted as Huspeka departs

Huspeka won PPT1 Prague back in 2010
Needless to say, David Huspeka has many a reason to be remember in ParadisePoker Tour history but the young Czech will not be our first repeat winner after crashing out in 21st place.

Entering the day in the middle of the field, he had already managed the distinguished honour of cashing twice in this year's event following a 4th-place finished in Wednesday's Deep & Steep.

He will add  €1,579 to that score to take his winnings this week to over €3,000, but no doubt he would have wanted more.

His demise came after a typically aggressive move proved mistimed. A three-bet shove with A&hearts:6♥ was quickly called by Stanislav Polacek's JJ and though he picked up an open-ended straight draw on the 739-8 board, the river Q ended Huspeka's hopes of PPT history.

Prize Pool reminder: 1st - €33,005; 2nd - €20,090; 3rd - €13,346; 4th - €10,906; 5th - €9,184; 6th - €7,605; 7th - €6,170; 8th - €4735; 9th - €3,300; 10th-13th - €2,009; 14th-17th - €1,772; 18th-21st - €1,579.
