Bubble recap

Studýnka is always at the heart
of the action
Some big hands shaped the future of the ParadisePoker Tour Main Event during the bubble and with the PP blog loathed to leave the action, we decided a recap was the way to go.

The action-packed hands signalled something of a big shift in power at Table 1 as the relentlessly aggressive Roman Studýnka had his stack cut down to size by Ertan Aldikacti.

The man nicknamed Baba had been called pre-flop by Czech native Studýnka and much to the former's delight, he flop top set on a 4♠9♥10♦ board.

Roman called another bet with his K♦J♦ and when the turn brought 5♦, the ensuing fireworks saw the chips shipped into the centre. Ertan's set held against the draw and having taken a huge chunk from his rival's stack, his tower stood among the highest in the room at 450,000.

Studýnka wasn't done with the limelight, however, getting all-in a short time later with Aces and restoring some measure to his stack as he doubled up vs the A6 of an opponent.

Inevitably the bubble bursting has seen a raft of exits, including that of Alejandro Rodrigo - aka Jandrulo. His super short stack simply had to go in, so it was little surprise that his exit came once a cash was assured.
