Early end for Espensen

The ink was still dry on Ronnie's registration form
when Lady Luck turned on him!
Some days Lady Luck just has no time for poker players - even much accomplished ones - and so it proved for Ronnie Espensen here in Prague as some early misfortune sent him to the rail in the first three levels.

The Dane, who was picked more than any other player in Fantasy Poker, first found himself in an intense blind battle with Jozsef Kovacs

The Hungarian had completed the small blind when Espensen looked down at AK and a raising war ensued - ending with Kovacs five-bet shoving and Ronnie making the call.

Barcelona's third-place finisher flipped A10 but caught the 10 on the flop to cripple his rival. And it didn't last long for the PPT2 League champion, as he open shoved his short stack with 10s, only to run into KK.

"It's better to go out now than after eight hours," smiled the ever positive Espensen, "There's still plenty of time to have some fun this weekend."
