Demetris misses out as final table set

Demetris Triantafyilou had already survived one attempt on his tournament life but he can battle no longer, as he became our last player to miss the final table.

The Cypriot had earlier cracked the AK of Jakub Czakon with A3 to double up, so it was somehow fitting that the same opponent took his chips back to send us to the last 10 players.

Czakon shoved pre-flop in a blind battle between the pair with KJ, prompting a call from Triantafyilou's A7.

The flop immediately brought the Jack that would end the short stack's participation however, and the remaining players cheered their final table opportunity.
