| Happy birthday dad! Ronnie bought his father into the ME |
Ronnie gave his father a great gift, in the PP blog’s
humble opinion, for his 50th birthday by bringing him out to
ParadisePoker Tour Vienna and entering him into the Main Event.
The pair both played the €100+15 warm-up event too and it
dad Tommy Jensen who made the greater impression, finishing 7th from
the 100-odd player field to claim a €480 prize. Not too shabby for daddy!
Having bagged his entry into all Season 3 events plus
€10,000 for winning his league title last year, Espensen seems to have passed
on a few of his skills to the man he taught to play, but insists they remain
very different players.
“He is so patient, it’s unbelievable,” Ronnie told the PP
blog, “He can sit there for hours waiting for the right hand and the right
spots, so maybe I can learn something from him there.
“He might outlast me in the Main Event too, but we’ll see
how we both get on.”
