The spate of underdog victories seems to be drawing to a close and the next victim of Day 3 is Vincent Gomez, who was eliminated by Pavlos Xanthopolous.
The Greek's 99 held up against the A♦6♦ of his shorter stacked opponent and sent Gomez home with €8,460 for 5th.
The flow of all-ins has not been stemmed now and it is little surprise with the blinds now at 25,000/50,000, which make the average stack around 27 big blinds.
Expect more action!
