Nine players fight on in the Concord Card Casino after Mario Karman survived a scare, much to the discontent for the table! He looked certain to be next out of the tournament when his short stack was called holding J♥Q♥ vs the J♠J♦ of Billy Ngo.
The flop brought him the first ray of hope, falling 10♦9♥3♣ and though the 6♣ on the turn changed nothing, the crucial river 8♥ ensured Mario made the straight he needed to survive.
