No Kasz This Time

Oh dear. We've just lost Lukasz Gebica, and in spectacular style.

The board read Ah Ts 9d Td when I got there and the pot consisted of around 60,000. Gebica went all in, and got snap-called by Ulrike Schröder.

Gebica: Js Qh for the up-and-down straight draw

Schröder: Tc Th for nothing short of quads, meaning that Gebica was drawing dead - he stood up to leave

The stacks were assessed and Gebica had Schröder covered - by just 1,500 or so. He sat back down, but a minute or two later and he was standing up to leave for real this time.

Schröder, our last woman standing, enjoyed a full double up and is now relatively comfortable on over 150,000.
