Marek Magic

Marek Viscak's love affair with the ParadisePoker Tour looks set to continue judging by his luck so far today, as the Czech player eliminated his latest foe despite being dominated.

Having come second in the 2009 London event and followed up with victory in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria back in July, Viscak has earned more call-ups than most to the Fantasy Poker teams - and it seems you were right to back him.

Calling a short stack shove with K♦5♦ looked a poor move when his opponent rolled over K♣J♣, but the board brought immediate hope for the canny Czech, falling 6♦-Q♦-2♣.

Remarkably it wasn't even the flush, nor a pair that saved the day for Marek, as the turn brought 4♥ and the river completed an unlikely straight with the 3♣.

Cue roar of approval from his fantasy poker backers...
