Big talk = big stack?

Perhaps his table table talk paid off, perhaps it was just another instalment of the chips magnet that is Pawel Chmiel, but with just 90 seconds on the Day 1a clock the Pole claimed his latest victim.

It was no feat either, as PPT Vilamoura's fourth-place finisher Paulo Colado fell to Chmiel's AKs holding 88.

Poker's most famous match-up found favour with big slick on this occasion, with an Ace first out on top of the flop to hand the big stack a lead he wouldn't relinquish.

And with that, the day was done. Chip count on its way folks.
