Early stages like a big name graveyard

Commiserations are already in order for a number of well-known faces around the ParadisePoker Tour... and that can't be good for fantasy poker!

Johan "Dusty Rat" Jakobbson (pictured at the cash tables!) was among the fallen, with his typically aggressive style proving his downfall after he refused to hang around playing short stack poker.

The Swede - who is well thought of on ParadisePoker circles thanks to his ninth-place finish at Event #45 of this year's WSOP - crashed out when he ran his K10 into both KK and QQ.

Not the ideal scenario for cash game specialist, but he was in good spirits as he chatted following the demise, "I'm always going to play hard when I've got chips or if I'm a short stack, I hate hanging around for the moment to shove.

"If I'd been sitting on a medium stack at the first break, I probably would have taken it easy and waited it out for hands, but that wasn't my strategy once I lost a few chips.

"I'm in London until Monday though so my friends and I are going to enjoy the city. We'll probably go out tonight and then we're off to Arsenal-Spurs tomorrow and it'll be my first time at the Emirates."

Another man in need of a little sympathy is Danish player Ronnie Borg, who despite his protestations makes it on to the PPT blog courtesy of being the first man out of today's event!

After earning the same dishonour back in July at the PPT Bulgaria, Ronnie probably won't be making any fantasy teams soon, though its a little surprising his good friend Aske Muff (pictured) failed to make any of your teams.

Also hitting the rail early on was another Swedish professional, Alexander Hanell, and ParadisePoker's own Mr. Grinder, Andy Cooper.
