Paradise big guns collide

Alexander Hanell took a huge pot off fellow Team Paradise player Pham Kim-Phuc to leave the latter on the brink of elimination.

Kim made a move with JQs on a dangerous A♥J♦10♦ flop, but Hanell (pictured) held his nerve and called with a set of Jacks to double through to 140,000.

Pham is down to 40,000, nearly one third of the 110,000 average stack, but has already shown his resilience more than once so far in WSOP #32.

Elsewhere Robert Norberg is maintaining a good level at around 150,000 while David Pishvafar has moved into three-figures himself, with 145,000 now at his disposal.

114 players are left in the tournament as we head to a break. We are set to play 10 levels in all on Day 2, or reach final table, whichever comes first.
