Bank Fails

Gabor Bank had been hanging on to his tournament life by a thread for some time - remember that great hand where he got it in with pocket queens against Piotr Jaczewski's A-Q and ended up chopping? It was Jaczewski who finally did him in as well, his Ad 8s coming good against Bank's Ks Jd by the end of the 5d Qh Jc 8h Ah board, despite spirited appeals to the poker gods in Hungarian from both Bank and another player at the table.

Jaczewski is now up to 215,000, which should make his displaced girlfriend/chair ornament happy as she wanders the cardroom trying to get a better view of his table.
