Still 15 in the room but Paul Kasselouris put himself at risk with a big call against the relentlessly aggressive Karipidis Kiriakos and emerged the hero.

Kasselouris - who goes by @kasspav on Twitter and writes his own poker blog - called his rival's pre-flop raise and bets on all three streets, albeit after a long spell in the tank on the river.

The board read 3♣2♠8♠-7♥8♦ and Kiriakos had shown no signs of slowing down, setting Paul all-in.

He eventually announced call and punched the air in delight when Karipidis reluctantly rolled K♦Q♣, showing his winning 4♥4♠.
