Tibor Boros will not avenge the pain of last year's final table this time, as having struggled through much fo Day 2 he finally succumbed in a standard all-in.
One villain had raised utg and when the small blind went all-in, Boros decided the time was right with AQ. The original raiser folded 99 face-up and when his other opponent revealed the same hand, Tibor was handed a little extra hope.
Lady Luck refused to bring any of the outs he desired, however, and the Hungarian found himself out of the Main Event: "I've not had any cards these past two days and normally that's ok, as I don't need strong starting hands to play - but I couldn't really hit anything on the flop either!"
Boros has endured a rough start to the year but his search for a change in fortunes continues, as he quickly made his way across the room for late registration in the €220 NLHE side event.
